The Belt Weighing System integrates conveyor belt loading with conveyor belt travel to calculate the total quantity of material that has been carried past the weighing system and which also computes the flow rate of material rapidly. So with a belt scale on your conveyor, you can see how much material has traveled this day, or this shift and you can also monitor your plant output in tonnes per hour or some other suitable unit.
Features:
- Two idlers are used (using 4 loadcells) for weighing hence high resolution with respect to the dead load of the belt and idlers.
- MODBUS/ Profibus/ remote display – communication port available as an option.
- No mechanical levers are used to sense the belt load. Hence, no inaccuracy on that account.
- High-Speed ADC is used to have a faster response.
- Self-diagnostic facilities.
- Single idler with counterbalancing arrangement for low belt loads having 2 loadcells and 4 loadcell platform type arrangement for high belt loads.
- The system uses strain gauge type precision loadcell which has negligible deflection hence higher accuracy is achieved.
- Digital Proximity speed sensor designed to generate sufficient pulses even at very low belt speed.
- Unique zero tracking software to compensate for varying “weight of the belt”.
